Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Mr. Tariq Altayer, First Deputy Chairman of the Federal National Council of the United Arab Emirates

On February 23, Ms. Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Chairperson of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, met with Mr. Tariq Altayer, First Deputy Chairman of the Federal National Council of the United Arab Emirates, during his visit to Azerbaijan in the framework of the 14th Plenary Session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly.

At the meeting, various aspects of the development of the dialogue and co-operation amongst countries within the framework of inter-parliamentary organizations were discussed.

Mr. Tariq Altayer positively assessed the active interaction of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, established at the initiative of H.E. Mr. Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan

At the meeting, ideas were exchanged on further expansion of parliamentary diplomacy within the framework of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network.
